How Do I Return An Item?

RETURNS POLICY


Thank you for shopping with us at Yankee Candle Singapore. 

 

We want you to love everything you purchase from us. If, for any reason, you change your mind about the purchase, simply return the item(s) to any of our Yankee Candle stores for a full refund or exchange within
30 days from the date of purchase.

 

How Do I Return An Item?

 

You may return the item to any of our stores in Singapore, or by post to Pure Senses Pte Ltd at 203 Henderson Road, #12-14 Singapore 159546. For a list of store locations, please click here.

 

Please note that you will have to bear the cost of postage incurred when returning the items to us by post, and fill in our returns form which can be downloaded here.

 

We recommend that you give us a call or email before arranging for the items to be posted back to us.

 

All items purchased from our Yankee Candle stores or www.yankeecandle.com.sg may be returned for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase, except items stamped as “ALL SALES FINAL” on our receipt, provided the following conditions are met:

 

1.     You have our original receipt. We require this to verify that the purchase is from our stores or from our website, and we will not accept any exchange or refunds without our original receipt.

 

2.     Items to be returned are in their original packaging and labels, undamaged and unused. We require that the returned items be in re-saleable condition, unless defective*.

 

3.     For items purchased together a gift-with-purchase or purchase-with-purchase promotion, please return the gift or sale item as well.

 

4.     “ALL SALES FINAL” purchases are non-returnable.

 

5.     For items that have been delivered, you may return the items if:

 

(a) the item(s) is/are damaged in its original packaging upon delivery; or

(b) the item(s) delivered is/are incorrect from your original order.

 

We require that you contact us within seven (7) days of delivery and email a photograph of the damaged/incorrect items alongside the paper bag(s) or box(es) that they were delivered in. Please note we will not refund the cost of original delivery.

 

6.     If you request for a refund, the purchase price (excluding delivery charges) will be refunded to you using the original payment method once we have received the returned item(s) and confirmed that the item(s) meet(s) conditions (1) to (5) stated above.

                       

·       If you had paid for the items using cash, NETS or Union Pay in the shop, you will be refunded back in cash.

·       If you had paid for the items using credit card, you will be refunded back through your credit card. It will take approximately 14 working days for the amount to be refunded. You will be notified when the amount has been refunded.

·       If you had paid for the items using PayPal, you will be refunded back through your PayPal account. Refunds may take 30 days to appear on your credit card statement. Payments from other sources are refunded to your PayPal balance. You will be notified by PayPal when the amount has been refunded.

 

7.     For our members who have requested for a refund, the amount refunded will be deducted from your total purchase in your membership profile as well.

 

8.     Yankee Candle Singapore reserves the right to reject any exchange or refund without any proof of purchase, or for items that have been opened or used. We shall not be liable to you for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses as a result.

 

9.     Used items that are non-returnable are: Tea Lights Candles, Votive Sampler Candles, Fragrance Spheres, and Scenterpiece Easy Meltcups. On the other hand, used Large Jars/Tumblers and Small Jars/Tumblers are non-returnable when it has been used up to more than 5cm and 3cm, respectively, from the rim of the container.

                                   

* For defective item(s), we require that the item(s) be brought back to us within seven (7) days of purchase and be tested by us before we can determine that the item(s) is/are defective. Please bring the defective items to our stores, where our staff will advise on the procedures to be carried out.
